Meet Your Sewing Instructor
Hi, I'm Anna—a sewing educator and textile professional passionate about sharing the history, techniques, and creativity of fiber arts.
With more than 15 years of sewing experience and a background in professional sewing-machine instruction, I help people of all skill levels build confidence and connect with their creativity. Through teaching, community programming, and my work with local makers and organizations, I believe textiles can do more than teach us how to make—they can preserve stories, connect generations, and bring communities together.
I love helping people feel comfortable and confident with their machines, no matter their skill level. My goal is to pass on skills that can be built up as as a foundation and can be used to fuel your inner creativity.
I specialize in troubleshooting, costume design with an emphasis on garment construction, quilting, embroidery and machine help.
What sets me apart is my approach — I’m patient, easy to work with, and I will help you tackle any project no matter how big or small. My goal is to make learning fun, stress-free, and tailored to you so you can get the most out of your machine!
